TFH-276, Silin Dubh is a standout star from the Nor-Cal 2nd Annual Summer Fig Echange.
The mother tree was found around the same time as Jolly Rancher, though the fruit had been inconsistent until the last two seasons. The flavor is for sure a wow. Silin Dubh is a smaller, black variety, with thin skin, small open eye, thick neck and deep red interior. Flavor is potent and has some "zing", "tart" and "tang", with complex berry/blackberry/raspberry.
