Corazon de la Bahia is an absolutely beautiful fig. This was found a few years ago on one of our trips to the Bay Area, and grown out by a select few. We have finally decided to release it to the public. This fig has been grown in Tennessee with maturing fruit. The fruit has a thin burgundy-red skin, and deep red interior that is both juicy and gelatinous. The flavor is that of complex berries with light seed crunch.
