TFH 0135, Carr, is a resilient fig tree located at the Carr Powerhouse near Whiskeytown Lake. Despite the damage caused by the Carr fire, this tree has managed to survive and thrive thanks to its location within a large asphalt parking area, the tree has been able to withstand the harsh conditions and continue to produce delicious figs. Carr has a smooth, thin skin, and can bear either honey colored or red interior depending on caprification. Very similar to a mission fig in flavor, though upon caprification we find it to have a red wine type flavor finish.

The origins of this tree are really unknown, and due to its location, we would not claim that it is or isnt a seedling, Just our general opinion.Whether you're a fig enthusiast or simply looking for a unique addition to your garden, the TFH 0135, Carr, is sure to impress.
